Even then, it may take years to see how all the dots con­nect­ed into the big pic­ture, the pic­ture none of us knew we were draw­ing. The way this all start­ed, it seems like it was always meant to be a part of some­thing larg­er, some­thing (dare I say it?) greater. The thing was, even if we might have thought this, none of us had any idea what that some­thing larg­er might be. We still don’t, but now the dif­fer­ence is that we at least know that we don’t know it. And if we ever find out, will we real­ly be any bet­ter for it?
